Alison Gibb (nee Morgan) of Carlton
A
lison's family and I would like to thank everyone who attended
the service to celebrate Alison's life on Wednesday 3rd
September 2008 at St Mary's Church, Carlton. After a long illness,
borne with such courage over the past two years, it was a great
comfort to have so many friends from Carlton, Olney and the
surrounding district, meeting to give thanks for her life of love and
laughter and devotion to others. I would also like to thank everyone
who has done so much during this difficult time to help, especially
her doctor, Mark Hedges, the District Nursing Team from Sharnbrook
Surgery, her carers, and all the friends who visited and constantly
made enquiries. Thank you also to Ken Brandon, Funeral Director
Carlton for his services and to the Reverend Jan Fox who conducted
the celebration service at Bedford Crematorium.
Finally, I would like to acknowledge all friends and family who
donated so generously, especially my colleagues at Atlas Converting
Equipment for their collection and also the Company who doubled
the amount. The total donated enabled us to distribute £1,000 each
to Addenbrook's Oncology and St John's Hospice at Moggerhanger.
