Fair Trade Event at Lavendon

n Saturday 7 March
Lavendon Baptist
Church hosted its annual
Fair Trade event - a sale of
Fair Trade goods ranging
from coffee, tea and
Easter Eggs, to cards,
jewellery and small
household items. A good
crowd was in attendance
and trade was fairly brisk.
In addition there was
opportunity not only to
browse, but to chat to
friends and enjoy the
coffee and cakes that were also on offer. Donations given for these
refreshments amounted to £75 which will be given to Tear Fund, a
Christian relief and development agency that the church supports.

Van Weenen Estate Agents have sold three houses, (subject to contract) in each month this year,
and continue to prove houses do sell, at the right price. Haydn and Maxine have been working
