elcome to the May edition of the Phonebox
Magazine
.
We have a bumper edition for you this month with
plenty of articles and stories featured from money
raising events to even a marriage!
The music scene is hotting up in the area with
things taking off at quite a pace, one minute there
doesn't seem to be all that much going on and
suddenly, with an idea and a bit of promotion, we
have a lot more to do and listen to.
With the credit crunch affecting most of us, now is
the time to shop local. If you can find someone local
to do that job or provide that service you require then
use them, they keep our local community going, we
don't want to see boarded up shops!
One not so local shop that has created a lot of
letters in our mailbag, both for and against, is the
new proposal in Newport Pagnell for a Tesco on the
old Aston Martin site. We all have a voice, we just
have to use it, it is our right. So campaign as you see
fit. We also have the right to vote shortly on the
European Election - It may be very wise to read
Pibworth's column on page 69 before you do so!!!
